For 98 years, the Hallyburton Johnstone Sports Club in Point Chevalier, has faithfully upheld its founder's vision. What began as one man's generous gift of land for bowls, croquet and tennis remains exactly that - thriving sports clubs on the very grounds Hallyburton Johnstone entrusted to this community almost a century ago.

Now, almost a century later, The Anglican Trust for Women and Children is attempting to argue it is the rightful owner of the site, putting all of this history, community and camaraderie at risk.
